Money Saving

With more efficient heating and no more gas, you'll save money on your energy bills.

How Does it Work?

The air source heat pump uses ambient outdoor air and converts it into energy to heat your home and water. The air extracted into the pump through the fan is compressed into a refrigerant liquid form, increasing its temperature, and this is what circulates through the heating system.

Heat pumps are often chosen as a way to increase energy efficiency, this is because for every 1kW of energy input, 3 kW of energy is output. This means the heat pump is 300% efficient with energy, in comparison to the average gas boiler which is only 80% efficient.

Powered by electricity, you could potentially cut your gas bills out entirely from your home, furthermore if you have solar panels installed you could become 100% independent from the grid!

ECO4 Scheme

The ECO4 scheme is primarily targeted at households in vulnerable situations, including those receiving certain benefits, pensioners, or those living in fuel poverty.

Some of the options available are; air source heat pumps, solar panels, one measure of insulation, or upgrading to a more energy efficient boiler.

As part of the scheme, these energy-saving measures can be fully or partially funded, depending on the eligibility criteria, meaning that many homeowners can benefit from these essential upgrades with little or no upfront cost.
